The comprehensive review covers Rapra vulcanization fume project - a unique study analyzing cure volatiles from a suite of formulations using a common pool of ingredients. The experiments were conducted and analytical findings are presented, discussed and compared with on-site data. GC/MS was used to identify and determine components of fumes. In the study, which included 75 ingredients, 157 different emissions were found. The document contains 100 tables of data.
Rubbers tested: SBR, NR, EP, EPDM, NBR, IIR, CR, and CSM. Testing conditions: cure temperatures - 150-200C and 175-225C as well as emissions during cooling. The data obtained are also accessible from electronic database.
